ARRKO and Boiarka Community: Strategic Dialogue on Development and Investment

Community development begins with dialogue, a shared vision and concrete steps.

That is why the Kyiv Regional Development Agency team has for several months been actively working to study the needs of territorial communities, and we have now moved on to an important stage – conducting focus groups on the ground.

One such meeting was a discussion in Boiarka community, which brought together representatives of the Agency, the Boiarka City Council, public organisations and business.

The discussion was moderated by Valentyna Poltavets.

The main goal was to form a strategic vision for the community’s development, identify key priorities and assess its investment potential.

During the meeting, the following were discussed:

• promising areas for development and important community initiatives;

• potential projects and opportunities for attracting investment;

• the role of civil society in developing the region;

• the need to develop an investment passport for the community.

Importantly, such meetings contribute not only to shaping strategy, but also to involving the community in decisions that will affect the region’s future.
