FAQ
Who can contact the Agency regarding grant opportunities?
Territorial communities, enterprises, civil society organizations, and educational and research institutions in the Kyiv region are welcome to contact us. We help identify international funding opportunities that align with your needs and project ideas. Applicant requirements depend on the specific call for proposals.
We have an idea but no ready-made project. Where do we start?
You can reach out as early as the idea stage. Briefly describe the problem you wish to solve, the project's target audience, and the results you plan to achieve. Mention any existing resources and partners, if applicable. This will help us assess potential funding avenues and determine the next steps.
How does the Agency help prepare a grant application?
We assist in analyzing competition criteria, verifying the alignment of the project idea, and defining project objectives, expected results, and logic. We provide guidance on preparing applications, finding partners, and engaging with international organizations. The scope and format of our support are tailored to the applicant's needs and the program's requirements.
Is it mandatory to have international partners and own funding?
It depends on the specific call for proposals. Some programs support individual applicants, while others require a consortium of partners from multiple countries. Co-financing requirements also vary: a grant may cover all eligible costs or only a portion of them. These conditions should be checked before you begin preparing your application.
Can we reach out if we have already selected a grant competition?
Yes. Please send the link to the call for proposals, a brief description of your project idea, and an indication of the assistance you require. We will help assess the idea's alignment with the program criteria and determine the next steps for preparation. We recommend reaching out well in advance to allow sufficient time to develop the application and engage partners.
