Biogas Forum in Bila Tserkva

Biogas Forum in Bila Tserkva

The biogas industry is a promising area of development for our country.

Kyiv Regional Development Agency organised an event as part of a project to develop the biogas industry in Kyiv Oblast, where participants had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the processes and technologies used to transform organic materials into renewable energy, learn about the first steps in building a biogas plant, the specifics of its financing, and investment models for construction.

Representatives of Gals Agro, as well as Pro-Energy, shared their many years of experience, supplementing the presentation with technical expertise and talking about the key stages of concept development, business models and design.

As part of the event, participants visited an operating plant in Kyiv Oblast that successfully applies the latest processing methods in biogas technology. Experts shared their experience and useful information on starting work on a biogas plant project, including the key components for its implementation: availability of one’s own raw materials, successful cooperation with local authorities, short logistics, continuous analysis of raw materials, and the equipment needed for collecting and processing biomaterial.

For the biogas industry of Kyiv Oblast, they stressed the importance of mapping the potential of biomethane projects near existing gas networks.

Today, the issue of environmental protection is extremely acute, so events like this, which open up new alternatives for protecting the environment, create opportunities for promoting energy innovation.

We sincerely thank the Bila Tserkva Strategic Development Agency for hosting us and helping to organise the event.
