Construction of a Bayraktar drone manufacturing plant has started in Kyiv Oblast!

👉Intentions to build the plant first became known in the summer of 2022. At that time, the company Baykar had already received licensing permits from Turkey for the full production of Bayraktar TB2 and Akinci unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine.

At the end of 2022, the company Baykar Defence announced its intention to complete construction of the plant in Ukraine by 2025. In particular, the plant plans to build TB2, Akıncı and Kizilelma drones.

We hope that not much time will pass from the start of construction to the opening of the plant, and that the Agency, which is directly involved in the organisational and approval processes related to this construction, will be able to welcome the implementation of such a significant investment project in Kyiv Oblast.

📌The construction of a drone manufacturing plant has several positive implications at once. First, it demonstrates the readiness of foreign partners not only to cooperate at the level of memoranda, but also to directly locate their enterprises in Kyiv Oblast. Second, such production in our country will help strengthen Ukraine’s defence capability and resist the enemy more effectively.
