Consultation session for stakeholders "Strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian SMEs"

How can the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses be strengthened even under wartime conditions?

This was exactly the focus of the stakeholder consultation session "Strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian SMEs", organised by Swisscontact. The event brought together representatives of government, international partners, business associations and entrepreneurs to discuss strategies for supporting entrepreneurship.

Participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the results of a new survey of Ukrainian businesses, learn about key economic trends, discuss challenges and opportunities for business, and hear about international experience in supporting SMEs, including examples of the Swiss "Gold Standard" model. A practical workshop helped identify entrepreneurs’ current needs and formulate proposals for further work at the regional level.

For our team, participating in such events is above all an opportunity to strengthen our own expertise and gain new knowledge and contacts for further work with communities. We see how international experience and joint efforts can become a resource for strengthening the economy of Kyiv Oblast and open up new prospects for the development of small and medium-sized business.
