Cooperation with the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce
Reconstruction and rapid economic development of Kyiv Oblast are perhaps the most ambitious goals in the Agency’s work. To achieve this, we are engaging more and more foreign stakeholders in order to develop the region as dynamically as possible.
On 25 May, a joint meeting of one of the committees of the industry and commerce chamber AHK Ukraine and the Kyiv Regional Development Agency took place. Among those who took part in the event were the Agency’s director Oleksandr Vakhovskyi and the Agency’s legal expert Dmytro Ovsii, as well as representatives of German businesses already operating in the oblast and those only intending to enter the Ukrainian market.
The German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ukraine) is part of the worldwide network of German Chambers of Foreign Trade (AHK). AHK Ukraine supports Ukrainian and German companies in developing international business and serves as a platform for bilateral economic exchange.
During the meeting, AHK Ukraine and the Agency discussed the ways and instruments that currently most effectively facilitate the entry of investment into Ukraine. In addition, they raised the issue of creating a joint “single entry point” for international investors and donors, to enable effective processing of enquiries and the provision of quality consultations and support.
“Kyiv Oblast is a region with high production and investment potential. It is extremely important now to interact with organisations ready to support the development of Kyiv Oblast and communicate with investors abroad. Both our Agency and the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce have the necessary capacity for cooperation. It is therefore important to intensify the exchange of expertise and build inter-organisational activity as much as possible”, – said Oleksandr Vakhovskyi.
We work together for the development and growth of Kyiv Oblast!
