Defenders of Ukraine Day

On 1 October, Ukraine celebrates Defenders Day.

We thank the Defence Forces of Ukraine for the fact that our state exists today – free and independent. Thank you for the daily protection, the lives saved, and the faith that we will be able to defend our borders, withstand the trials, and rebuild.

Today we also honour the memory of all those who fell, giving their lives in the fight for the integrity and existence of the Ukrainian people. Honour and gratitude to every Hero. We will not forget and will not forgive the enemy for a single victim.

We congratulate all defenders. Take care of yourselves. Glory to Ukraine!
