Director of ARRKO on a Study Visit to Poland

International exchange of experience continues!

Director of the Kyiv Regional Development Agency, Oleksandr Vakhovskyi, is taking part in the project “Support for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions” and, together with colleagues, joined a working trip to Poland.

On the first day, participants worked at Business in Małopolska, where they met and talked with representatives of organisations and institutions that shape the investment and technological ecosystem of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.

“The 25-year history of shaping Poland’s investment climate and its emergence as an industrial powerhouse of Europe was truly impressive,” Oleksandr shares his impressions.

In addition, Małopolska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. shared its experience in supporting communities and participating in the financing of projects with EU funds. They also talked more about the establishment of the Agency as an independent institution on the map of development and support for entrepreneurship and business.

Another important event was a visit to Krakowski Park Technologiczny, which is the practical result of many years of effort in developing tools, strategies and incentive practices. The Krakow Technology Park currently has more than 350 residents and over 100 companies that have grown from start-ups thanks to strong acceleration support and R&D.
