Discussion ‘Bioactive Substances and Pharmaceuticals for Human Health’

Kyiv Oblast is developing rapidly and looking for areas of specialisation and increased production within the region 💪

On Tuesday, 18 April, a round table was held at the Kyiv Regional State Administration building to discuss the smart specialisation of Kyiv Oblast, “Bioactive Substances and Pharmaceuticals for Human Health”.

The round table was attended by representatives of the Department of Economy of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, the Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National University of Food Technologies, the O. M. Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv Academic University, the Kyiv Regional Development Agency, as well as representatives of enterprises in the fields of cosmetology, perfumery and biologically active substances.

Participants discussed the main steps for implementing the oblast’s strategy based on the developed smart specialisation directions, prospects for cooperation between manufacturers and state institutions, and the production of innovative cosmetic products. They also examined international experience in exhibition activity as a means of promoting product exports.
