Humanitarian aid for residents of Kyiv Oblast

Humanitarian aid for residents of Kyiv Oblast

A year has passed since the complete de-occupation of Kyiv Oblast. During this time, much effort has been made to restore and strengthen our oblast. But the need to support local residents and internally displaced persons remains a relevant issue at all times.

Over the past week, the Kyiv Regional Development Agency, together with the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation, handed over 250 humanitarian packages to residents of the region, reaching 490 people. Aid was received by residents of Pereiaslav, Berezan, Bohuslav, as well as the modular town in Brovary.

Each package is important not only in terms of providing food. This aid is also about supporting the people who currently live in Kyiv Oblast.

Together with the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation, we are gradually implementing the points of the memorandum of cooperation signed at the beginning of February and helping residents of the oblast who need humanitarian aid.

The Ukrainian Food Banks Federation is a charitable organisation specialising in humanitarian aid, in particular the provision of food packages. The organisation has more than 100 volunteers, and their number is constantly growing.

We continue to work together with our partners for the well-being of the oblast’s residents!
