International Cooperation for the Development of Medicine in Kyiv Oblast
A meeting was held at the Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital with representatives of the international and charitable community, aimed at expanding partnership and improving the quality of medical care for children.
Among the participants were Jonathan Conlon, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ireland to Ukraine, Rudolf Myhovych of the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine, and the team of the Kyiv Regional Development Agency.
The hospital’s General Director, Kateryna Savinova, presented the facility’s activities, spoke about its achievements, needs and the conditions of treatment for young patients.
Special attention was paid to the prospects for developing the surgical department and improving the system of care for children with burns. The hospital’s staff already have experience of internships in clinics in Denmark, Italy and the USA, which allows them to introduce modern international practices.
During the meeting, further steps in cooperation were discussed, including the possibility of medical partnership with children’s clinics in Ireland.
Sincere thanks to the international partners, benefactors and colleagues who support the development of medicine in Kyiv Oblast.
The Kyiv Regional Development Agency continues to work despite all challenges — bringing together efforts for the recovery, development and European integration of Kyiv Oblast. Cooperation with international partners is the path to strong communities, modern medicine and a worthy future for Ukraine in the European family.
