Let’s Start! ‘Power of Opportunities’ for the Development of Kyiv Oblast

Today marked a landmark event — our first meeting under the project «Power of Opportunities», implemented with the support of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.

We are embarking on a path whose goal is to provide real tools for growth, support initiatives and strengthen the potential of our community. During the meeting we discussed the key stages of cooperation, the expected results, and exactly how this project will change the landscape of local development.

In particular, today’s meeting was devoted to expanding grant opportunities for oblast residents. Together with representatives of the Kyiv Oblast Employment Centre, we discussed mechanisms of financial support, the conditions for obtaining grants, and how state and international resources can effectively complement one another.

Why is this important? The «Power of Opportunities» project is not just about resources, but about creating a sustainable ecosystem in which every active participant can realise their potential. Together with our Swiss partners we are focusing on:

✅ supporting micro and small business;

✅ creating new jobs;

✅ strengthening the region’s economic capacity.

We thank our partners at Helvetas Ukraine for their trust and expert support. There is a lot of work ahead, but the energy of the first meeting proves: together we are capable of more!
