Meeting with a representative of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine

Yesterday a working meeting took place between the team of the Kyiv Regional Development Agency and Jorg Zinken — First Secretary, Head of the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine.

During the conversation, participants had the opportunity to present the key areas of the Agency’s activity — from supporting small and medium-sized business to implementing international projects in the field of green energy, community development, and, in particular, promoting European integration processes at the regional level.

Special attention was paid to the potential of Kyiv Oblast for economic partnership. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation with Dutch business in the fields of agricultural innovation, logistics, processing, renewable energy and cluster development. They also raised the issue of forming a favourable, safe and transparent investment environment that meets EU standards.

We are grateful to the Embassy of the Netherlands for its interest in our region, openness to dialogue and readiness for practical cooperation. It is especially important for us that sustainable development, European values and mutual trust remain at the centre of the partnership.
