Participation in a meeting of the Ukrainian Climate Network

Actively engaging in the development of climate policy in the region!

Specialists from the Kyiv Regional Development Agency recently took part in an online meeting of the Ukrainian Climate Network, dedicated to institutionalising climate policy at the local level.

Facilitating the development and implementation of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) in the communities of Kyiv Oblast is one of the Agency's key areas of activity.

As a reminder, within the framework of the GreenGov project – Interreg Europe, ARRKO will be updating the SECAPs for selected communities of Kyiv Oblast. The information obtained during the meeting will be useful for this work.

The speakers' presentations were useful regarding:

♻️barriers and opportunities for implementing climate policy at the local level;

♻️features of communicating climate policy in communities;

♻️practical experience in developing SECAPs.
