Participation in international forums

Interest in Ukraine and its economic development is growing every day. But for successful work, local stakeholders and international partners need constant dialogue and coordination of activities.

The Kyiv Regional Development Agency uses available platforms to talk about the economic development of Kyiv Oblast and exchange experience with colleagues from Ukraine and the world.

On Thursday, 8 June, representatives of the Agency took part in three events at once on business, reconstruction and international cooperation.

The first National Forum «Assistance to Business in Wartime: National and Regional Aspects» took place in Lviv. Four panel discussions were held during the forum. One of them was devoted to issues of business support at the regional and local levels.

Among the event’s speakers was the Agency’s director Oleksandr Vakhovskyi. He spoke, in particular, about the experience of interaction between business and local authorities in Kyiv Oblast.

The Western Ukrainian Export Forum Western Ukrainian Export Forum also took place in Lviv. It is a platform for presenting export products and discussing trends in the export of Ukrainian goods to new markets.

The forum aims to engage businesses in export relations, support foreign economic cooperation, and present the export potential of Ukrainian products.

Representatives of the Agency also took part in the event Big Day with NV. Dialogues on the Recovery of Ukraine, which took place in Kyiv. There, participants discussed issues of post-war reconstruction, attracting investment, business participation in this process, and Ukraine’s energy stability.
