Participation in the All-Ukrainian Educational and Practical Conference
On 6–8 December, the Kyiv Regional Development Agency joined the All-Ukrainian Educational and Practical Conference “Initiatives for Recovery and Development: Regional and Local Aspects”.
During the event, participants learned about effective mechanisms and tools for the recovery and development of communities and territories. In addition, the conference featured presentations of the best regional and local initiatives, programmes and practices aimed at sustainable development.
“The development of regions during the war and in the post-war period is a genuine state and socio-humanitarian challenge for Ukrainians. We must not only direct our efforts towards reconstruction, but also build a development strategy in the context of Ukraine’s accession to the EU,” notes Oleksandr Vakhovskyi, Director of ARRKO.
We thank the organisers of the event for the invitation, valuable connections, and relevant, necessary information that will be useful for the Agency’s development.
🔘The event was organised by UNDP Ukraine / UNDP in Ukraine together with the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, within the framework of the “EU4Recovery — Empowering Communities in Ukraine” project (EU4Recovery), with the financial support of the European Union.
