In April, the Regional Office for International Cooperation in Kyiv Oblast began its work.

The goals of establishing the office are:

🔹combining the efforts of central executive authorities, local authorities and international partners on issues of community development in Kyiv Oblast to improve the population’s standard of living;

🔹supporting international projects and coordinating international assistance within Kyiv Oblast;

🔹collecting, updating and systematising data on the current status of implementation and financing of international projects in Kyiv Oblast, and updating information on the population’s needs.

✅ On Friday, 7 July, a working meeting was held with structural units and representatives of territorial communities on the work of the Regional Office for International Cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Kyiv Regional State and Military Administrations, representatives of district administrations, and the Kyiv Regional Development Agency.

All structural units, together with territorial communities, now need to develop a list of projects that can be presented and offered to international partners for implementation with full or partial financing.

The Regional Office for International Cooperation is an initiative of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, which aims to develop cooperation between local and regional authorities and international partners seeking to work at the oblast and territorial community level.
