Relocation of enterprises to Kyiv Oblast

Despite the consequences of occupation and active hostilities, Kyiv Oblast has become one of the regions where relocated enterprises from the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine have been able to settle.

Over more than a year of the full-scale invasion, 68 enterprises have been relocated to Kyiv Oblast under the government programme. Over the past six months, this number has increased fourfold! At present, some manufacturers have only just relocated, while others are already operating and developing.

The relocation of existing enterprises is an important process that contributes to economic development, protects operating enterprises from destruction, preserves existing jobs, and provides the population with the opportunity to work.

Significant support in the relocation process is provided by the state, in particular the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and local self-government bodies. The team of the Kyiv Regional Development Agency is also involved in this. Together with the Department of Economy of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, we help find premises for enterprises, establish communication with communities, and provide expert consultations.
