Start of cooperation with the Centre for Local Self-Government Quality

The Kyiv Regional Development Agency and the Centre for Local Self-Government Quality headed by Valentyna Poltavets have signed a memorandum of cooperation. This is a logical continuation of our joint work, as earlier the Agency’s team, together with Valentyna, researched the investment potential of 12 communities of Kyiv Oblast. Later, the results of this research were presented at the Kyiv Oblast Communities Forum.

Now we are laying the foundation for the next steps. A new joint project aimed at developing community development strategies will soon be launched. This is one of the key areas of the Agency’s work, as it is precisely strategic vision that determines the long-term capacity of communities and their readiness to respond to future challenges.

For the Agency, as a sustainable institution, it is important to work with a long-term perspective, and it is strategies that are the tool that allows communities’ ambitions to be turned into real results.

We are confident that combining the experience of the Centre for Local Self-Government Quality and the Agency will create additional value for the region and open up new opportunities for cooperation with business, investors and international partners!
